The artworks available in the store are either:

• one-of-a-kind pieces, or

• handmade custom works created to order

Therefore, the preparation time varies depending on the artwork.

Each product page indicates the estimated creation and preparation time.
If a delay occurs due to unexpected technical or artistic factors, you will be notified promptly via email.

2. Shipping Methods & Delivery

Orders are shipped to the address provided at checkout.

We ship to:

Shipments are handled via courier services or freight companies we cooperate with, depending on the size and weight of the artwork.

For large or heavy sculptures, special freight handling may be used to ensure professional treatment during transport.

3. Shipping Cost

Shipping cost is calculated automatically at checkout, based on:

• the delivery country

• the weight and dimensions of the artwork

• the shipping method selected

Any additional customs duties or import taxes (outside the EU) are paid by the recipient.

🔹 Duties & Import Taxes

Any customs duties, import taxes and clearance fees imposed by the destination country are the sole responsibility of the buyer. The buyer is responsible for informing themselves about potential import costs before placing an order. artgiannis.com does not cover or reimburse additional import charges, customs delays, storage fees or rejection of the shipment by foreign customs authorities.

🔹 Certificate of Authenticity & Export License

All artworks shipped from artgiannis.com include a certificate of authenticity signed by the artist. For orders shipped outside Greece, an official export license for artworks issued by the Ministry of Culture of Greece is also provided where required, ensuring legal export and full documentation of the artwork’s provenance.

4. Safe Packaging

Every artwork is packaged:

• with high-strength protective materials

• with reinforced protection of fragile points

• with special FRAGILE / HANDLE WITH CARE labeling

In certain cases, wooden or custom crates may be used for maximum protection during transport.

5. Shipping Times

Shipping times depend on the destination and the courier company.
Indicative delivery times:

Delivery times are approximate and may be affected by external factors (customs processes, weather conditions, peak shipping seasons, etc.).

6. Shipment Tracking

Once your artwork has been shipped:

• you will receive an email with a tracking number, and

• you can monitor the parcel’s progress until delivery.

7. Failed Delivery

If delivery cannot be completed due to:

• incorrect / incomplete delivery address, or

• inability of the courier to reach the recipient within the designated timeframe,

the parcel may be returned to the sender.
In such cases, reshipment and any additional costs will be charged to the recipient.

8. Receiving a Parcel with Visible Damage

If you notice visible damage to the packaging upon delivery:

1. take photographs of the parcel immediately (outside and inside),

2. note the observation with the courier company if possible, and

3. contact us via email with the photographs for assessment.

Submitting photos is necessary so that we can determine whether restoration or compensation is applicable.

Due to the handmade and customised nature of the artworks, returns are not accepted, except in cases of confirmed defect or incorrect shipment.
